This game was made for the Havi Egy Játék (HEJ) Game Jam, in March 2025, in less than a month

This is my first finished game, and the my first ever project with Godot.

In this game, you control a girl who can control the power of the seasons. You can run, jump, shoot, and change the season. Your active season determines the type of your projectiles and your defense.

Be careful though, as you are not the only one who can harness the power of the seasons. The evil forces are determined to destroy nature around you, and you are the only one who can stop them.

Use the power of the seasons to prevent them from carrying out their evil plan. If you are in the same season mode as the enemy’s attack, you absorb their attack’s power, which you can later use against them as ammunition. However, keep in mind that this also applies to them. Never attack an enemy with the same season as theirs.

The seasons are marked by colors:

  • Yellow – Autumn
  • Blue – Winter
  • Green – Spring
  • Red – Summer

The evil forces cannot harm you, they can only delay you for a moment if you don’t absorb their attack. Your ammunition is limited, so you must use your own body as a shield to protect nature. However, despite all of this, you are not invincible. As the evil forces destroy everything around you, the platforms you can stand on will shrink. If you fall into the water at the bottom of the stage, the game ends.

The evil forces will eventually win, but your goal is to last as long as possible and score as many points as you can.

  • 100 points – For shooting down an enemy
  • 20 points – For absorbing an enemy’s projectile
  • -5 points – For blocking an enemy’s projectile without absorbing it

Controls:

  • A and D – Running horizontally
  • Space – Jumping
  • Q and E – Changing the season
  • Left mouse click – Shooting
