Description

This is it! You have located the source of three mysterious transmissions, and your objective is to pinpoint their origin to decipher the messages.

Your handheld radio allows you to scrub through frequencies using the mouse wheel or the up and down arrows to detect these signals.

Each of the three transmissions corresponds to a set of five signals that share a common theme; you must identify this theme to ensure you are tracking the correct transmission.

Once you have identified a signal, you can place a signal booster at its center by pressing ‘F’. The closer the booster is to the exact center, the stronger the signal strength will be. You can pick a booster back up at any time by pressing ‘E’. If you need to clear the field, you can reclaim all of your signal boosters at once by holding down ‘T’ for five seconds.

After your boosters are deployed, return to the computer terminal and press ‘E’ to begin the deciphering process. While you don’t need perfect placement for all boosters, having more of them near the signal centers results in a much clearer message.

Note that if you have placed boosters for multiple different themes, the terminal will only decipher the one with the strongest signal, so it is best to focus on one transmission at a time.

Once a message is deciphered, press ‘TAB’ to open your terminal. Type in the message, and submit it to see the results.

Throughout your investigation, you may need to reach difficult areas by jumping with ‘Space’ or crouching with ‘Ctrl’, and certain doors can be opened by pressing ‘E’. If you ever find yourself stuck in the environment, you can reset your position by holding down ‘R’.

Explore the map, listen to your radio, and let’s get to the bottom of these strange transmissions.
